Here you can climb the many peaks over 2000 metres, master the challenging fixed rope routes and climbing walls, take a lovely hike along the most beautiful alpine areas in Austria and enjoy the panorama of a unique alpine mountain world. You can start your hikes right from our farm. 

Cyclists and mountain bikers will love it here. An approximately 480 km cycling and mountain biking network awaits you in the Saalachtal in Salzburg. Regardless of if you are a pleasure cyclist, and e-biker, competitive rider, or a mountain biker looking for new challenges, here in Lofer you'll be right at home! In addition, the beautiful Tauern Cycle Path along the Saalach runs right through Lofer. Numerous MTB trails lead right past the Nachbarbauer farm.

Lofer is also known as a true wild water paradise! You can discover the power of nature and experience action and adventure while canyoning, rafting or kayaking.

Especially for children, the Saalachtal in Salzburg offer numerous varied children's programmes promising fun and excitement. All summer long there is a comprehensive Kaserasi children's programme, from July to September. We here at the Nachbarbauer will be glad to give you information about the current programme for children. Here at the farm in Salzburg, our friendly cats and trusty cows  love being petted or fed by the children. There's no better way for the kids to get to know the farm animals.

With the free Salzburger Saalachtal Card, the advantage card for a less expensive holiday in Lofer, you profit in the summer from numerous discounts and free admissions! Enjoy wonderful and relaxing days in the Lofer outdoor pool or in the swimming pool in Unken completely free!
